I've always loved Christmas village decorations, this is the first year I've found some models I really like... it is beautifully detailed... I'm looking forward to collecting a new building each year :)
Your Description online for this item said battery operated: on receipt we found it was mains only.
We have kept it because of the postage charge to return it but it is displayed without being lit up.
Disappointed as a result we give it one star
I had gone a bit overboard with ordering for my Christmas village so was in two minds after ordering about immediately returning but this little building is so beautifully crafted and it lights up. Needless to say, i had no hesitation in keeping it. If you are into these little villages, i would have no hesitation in recommending this little shop.
Lemax Christmas village buildings are so beautifully crafted and become family heirlooms, brought out each year. I've had a number of these passed on to me and saw these on Mill Race wbe site as a super price so have bought to give as gifts.
