Grow your own tasty colourful salad leaves which are packed full of nutrients. There is nothing quite as special and rewarding as going out to your own garden and selecting home grown produce to use in your meals. A definite must for any summer salad. Rocket Salad boasts delicious spicy dark green leaves which are very simple to grow. The best way to grow this seed is to sow successionally and can be used as a cut and come again variety.,Seed Count: 1,000,WHEN TO SOW February to September. WHERE TO SOW February and March sowings direct into soil in cold frame or under cloches. Later sowings in open ground, sow in shallow drills about 1cm deep in rows 25cm apart. WHAT TO DO NEXT Thin out seedlings as they grow to final spacing of 15cm. MATURITY Three or four weeks from sowing. HANDY TIP Pick leaves regularly as plants will quickly run to seed. Sow in small plots each month to ensure continuous supply of leaves.
