WHEN TO SOW
February to July
WHERE TO SOW
Sow seeds under cover in pots or trays of a good seed compost, just covering the seed with the sieved compost or vermiculite. Place at a temperature of 18-20°C (65-70°F) until they germinate which usually takes 30-90 days.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings into pots or trays. When well established gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out 30cm (12") apart in moist, well drained soil in sun or part shade.
FLOWERS
July onwards (following year for later sowings)
HEIGHT

HANDY TIP
Early sowings will flower in the first year. July sowings can be planted out in the autumn or overwintered in a cold frame and planted out the following spring.
