Grow your own tasty colourful salad leaves which are packed full of nutrients. There is nothing quite as special and rewarding as going out to your own garden and selecting home grown produce to use in your meals. Although primarily grown as an ornamental plant for its dark red leaves, Bulls Blood Beet is now mildly used in baby leaf salads. It provides almost crimson colour leaves with a sweet taste to add to any salad.,Seed Count: 80,WHEN TO SOW April to October WHERE TO SOW Outdoors in shallow drills in a sunny position. Cover lightly with soil and keep well watered in dry weather. Sow throughout the season for a regular crop. HARVEST This is a cut-and-come-again crop. Start cutting when the plants are 2-10cm (1-4"") tall and you will harvest up to 5 cuts.
