Deep green succulent leaves for a summer long crop. Ideal for sowing in succession for a constant supply of fresh leaves. A slow bolting variety.

Pack size: 225 Seeds

When To Sow

March to July

Where to Sow

Direct into growing site , sow thinly in shallow drills 2cm (3/4in) deep with 30cm (12in) between the rows. For later sowings , some cloche protection may be required.

What to do next

As seedlings grow gradually thin out seedlings to 15cm (6in) apart. Water well during dry spells of weather to avoid premature bolting. Pick leaves as required.

Handy Tip

As the sun is the main factor in causing the bolting of spinach, it is best sown between taller crops or in semi-shade.

Nutritional Value

A good source of vitamins A and C, lutein and dietary fibre.
