Description
Attractive blousy blooms in a wide range of colours, adding interest to perennial borders.
Hardy Perennial Height: 50cm (20in)
Sow February to June or September and October
Plant Out April to October Flowers May to July (Following Year)
WHERE TO SOW Under cover sow seeds onto the surface of a good free draining seed compost. Do not cover the seed as light helps germination.
Place at a temperature of 15°C (60°F) until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days. WHAT TO DO NEXT Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots and grow on until larger.
Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out in a cold frame 30cm (12") apart.
Later sowings should be overwintered in a cold frame for planting out the following spring. HANDY TIP The large vibrant blooms are perfect planted in a border of hot colours.
