Description

Cucumber Party Time F1 is a heavy cropping and easy to grow, all-female variety that can easily produce 3-4 delicious bite sized fruits at each node every few days. Shows good tolerance against powdery mildew and makes the perfect healthy snack for children’s lunchboxes.

Product Part Number:12030

Pack Size:5 Seeds

When to Sow Party Time Cucumber Seeds: February to May

Plant Out: April to June

Harvest: July to September

Where to Sow: Sow seed on edge to prevent rotting 1.5cm (1/2") deep in individual 9cm (3 1/2in) pots under glass at a constant day and night temperature of 21°C.

What to do next: As soon as the seedlings have formed 3 true leaves, transplant them into 15cm (6") pots. When the plants are about 10cm (4") tall, plant out into final positions into large pots or growbags under glass. Provide some form of support and tie in stems as required.
Male flowers (those with no fruit behind) can appear under stress conditions, these should be removed immediately.

Handy Tip: Cucumbers prefer a moist atmosphere. Keep well watered and feed regularly once fruits start to set.
