An Italian favourite, with unusual pink and white rings when the roots are sliced. Has a lovely mild flavour and takes less time to cook when compared to other beetroots.
When to sow
March to July
Where to Sow
Sow thinly in shallow drills 1.5cm (½") deep with 30cm (12") between rows.
What to do Next
Thin the seedlings gradually as they grow to an eventual spacing of 10cm (4"). Do not transplant.
