Chlorine not only irritates your turtle’s eyes and skin, but can also destroy the friendly nitrifying bacteria in the terrarium, affecting the nitrogen cycle and breakdown of waste products.
King British Turtle & Terrapin Water Safe also coats the turtle with a protective coating of Aloe vera to help moisturise and soothe their skin.
